Chris Hughes has revealed he was involved in a horror car crash on the motorway on Sunday.
The former Love Island star told his Instagram followers how two members of the public rescued him.
The 29-year-old admitted he was “useless” following the accident and was thankful for the help.
The reality TV star managed to escape with just a sore neck however, his car wasn’t as lucky.
He told his 2.1 million fans: “Had a crash on the motorway last night and my cars in a sorry state, necks sore but home to this.”
His golf star girlfriend Annabel Dimmock prepared him a “get well pack” for his Valentine’s present following the crash.
Chris shared the gift which included pain killers, a massage rub and a note saying: “For my brave boy.”
Chris continued to explain alongside a video of his car on the side of the motorway with the hazard lights on in the dark, bleak weather.
He said: “Not fun but two amazing people stopped to help and they were the best. One was in the RAF and the other just came from work, so thanks both.
“I was actually useless in the situation and a little meh, so didn’t know what to do.”
Chris appeared to be back to normal on Monday as he shared clips of his Valentine’s Day with Annabel.
The couple shared a romantic walk before the 25-year-old surprised Chris at her parents house with a romantic dinner setting.
The pair have been dating since last summer and have already moved in together.
Their “cute” evening involved the pair watching Titanic on a large screen surrounded by tea lights.
Chris wrote alongside a video: “Nah I can’t this is so cute… what a fantastic lady.
“She drove me to her parents and told me I had to help them move something behind the house.”
