Ria Hebden has officially become the latest celebrity to get the boot from this year’s series of Dancing on Ice.
The ITV presenter landed in the bottom two against former S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens, which meant they had to battle it out in the dreaded dance-off on Sunday (January 30).
However, it was Lorraine Kelly’s showbiz expert Ria who had to leave, because the judges opted to save Rachel.
Show hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby welcomed back the stars as they took to the ice for the third week of the competition on Sunday (January 30).
This week’s theme was Movie Night, which meant the stars paid tribute to some of their favourite films with their ice rink routines.
Ria and her partner Łukasz Różycki had danced to Into the Unknown, from Disney’s Frozen 2 (2019) soundtrack.
Rachel and her pro partner Brendyn Hatfield, on the other hand, danced to Lady Marmalade from Moulin Rouge.
Turning to Lukasz, she said: “We’ve absolutely loved it, haven’t we? Just everybody, thank you, from behind the scenes to all the coaches, Karen, Rob, Dan, everybody. Hair and makeup.
“It’s just extraordinary this show, and I hope it’s brightened up everyone’s Sunday evenings, because we’ve had the time of our lives, haven’t we?”
Ria also told her partner Lukasz that she’d going to keep skating.
She told him: “I’m going to continue skating. I’m going to teach Luna [her daughter], it’s going to be our thing.
Love Island star Liberty Poole, Happy Mondays star Bez, and ITV presenter Ria Hebden were among the celebs dancing to impress judges Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean.
Lukasz praised Ria, saying it was a “pleasure” to skate with Ria on the series.
He told her: “It was a pleasure to skate with you, to work with you, and just to get to know you.”
The episode saw S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens return to the ice with her partner Brendyn Hatfield – after fracturing her wrist in a training session before Christmas.
Happy Mondays Star Bez also made an epic comeback to the rink, having been forced to sit out of the show last week due to catching Covid.
BMX star Kye White was forced to miss out on this week after spraining his ankle during training.
