Dancing on Ice's Stef Reid eyeing up I'm A Celeb after getting booted off ITV show

Defiant Stefanie Reid has brushed off her shock exit from Dancing On Ice by revealing she wants to do I’m A Celebrity next.

Fans were in uproar on Sunday night (March 6) when the Paralympian was booted out of the contest – missing next week’s semi-final.

Viewers were outraged that following the skate-off, the TV judges including Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean voted to save BMX star Kye Whyte.

Even though this was his fourth time in the bottom two, they kept him in the contest and amazingly sent Stef packing.

But the determined track and field medallist – who lost her right foot in a boating accident when she was a teenager – wants to put the controversy “on ice” as she is now eyeing up the endurance show.

Stef – who also made the finals of Celebrity MasterChef in 2018 – said: “If it’s in Australia, I am in – send me somewhere warm! We’ll see if I make it into the jungle!

“Although, as competitive as I am, my gag reflex is out of control.

“I’d be there trying so hard to eat stuff but gagging. So that kind of terrifies me. But I love challenge.

“Saying no to something because you’re scared of it is a terrible reason, so I’ll give anything a go.

“Do you know what? The best thing you can hope for in life is an opportunity and when they come you take it, grab it with both hands.

“So I wouldn’t rule anything out at this point!”

Speaking about her exit on Sunday, Stef said: “I have absolutely loved every moment.”

She went on: “This is not something that I ever thought I would be able to do.

“And just learning to skate and getting to learn about performance and dance, I can’t thank you enough.”

There are now five celebrities remaining on ITV’s Dancing On Ice – Brendan Cole, Kimberly Wyatt, Regan Gascoigne, Kye Whyte and Connor Ball.

But on Sunday there will be a double elimination – leaving just three for the grand final.
