Denise Van Outen’s former fiance Eddie Boxshall has insisted “life goes on” after the couple’s shock split earlier this year and is now looking at dating again.
The DJ, 49, previously apologised about the parting in March and said he regretted sexting other women during his romance with the star, 48, and in the wake of their break-up threw himself into the gym and his work.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “You know any break-up’s hard, for whatever reason, and it makes it worse, you know, certain things get printed in the press. And there’s two sides to every story.”

Actress, presenter and singer Denise previously detailed her split from Eddie in her autobiography ‘A Bit Of Me: From Basildon To Broadway And Back’.
She has reportedly found love again with property developer Jimmy Barba, 55, who became a household name in Italy when he appeared in its version of Big Brother.
Eddie reportedly said: “There is no animosity. Life goes on, The world carries on going round. She’s happy. I’m really happy she’s moved on. And I wish all the love and luck in the world.
“You know, I’m still yet to start dating. I’m looking at career wise first. Once I’m ready to move on, I’ll move on. Thankfully, you see you want to try.”
In June Denise revealed she was in shock after finding out Eddie had cheated and said: “I’d thought we had the perfect life. Any relationship has to be built on trust and once that’s gone, there’s no way forward.

“If I hadn’t found those pictures, I’d be planning a wedding right now. Instead, I’ve simply got to move on.”
The couple had appeared on the Channel 4 show Celebrity Gogglebox, with her beau saying: “It was something for about two years, being asked to do, you know, Denise said about doing it and because it wasn’t my forte, it wasn’t my world I sort of, you know, sidestepped it.
“And to the point, I was just like, you know what, I’m gonna give it a go. And when I did, I really enjoyed it. The team, everyone that works on the Channel 4, everyone on the production side of the show itself are fantastic.”
He added: “And yeah, of course, I’m going to miss it, of course I’m going to miss it. Wait and see, one door shuts, another door opens.”
