Duncan James has revealed he’d love to do Celebrity Gogglebox with his Blue bandmates, but he admits their stint would probably be too “X-rated” for TV.
The singer has just started appearing on the Channel 4 show himself alongside his best pal Denise Van Outen following her split from her ex partner, Eddie Boxshall.
Denise and Eddie used to star on the telly-watching show together, but Denise announced she’d split from the businessman in January after he cheated on her with other women.

But fans of Blue might be wondering if the hunky hitmakers could ever join Duncan on the sofa for a star-studded stint, especially now Duncan has a shoe-in with show bosses.
The beloved boy band caught up with Daily Star and other press at the 2022 TRIC Awards, where Duncan confirmed he’d love Blue to do the show but it would probably be too “X-rated” for telly.
The All Rise boys returned this year with their singles Haven’t Found You Yet and Dance with Me, with their sixth studio album Heart & Soul due to drop in September.
Asked whether he felt pressure when he joined his pal Denise on Gogglebox to replace Eddie, Duncan insisted he didn’t and it simply felt “natural” given they were such good mates.
He said: “No, me and Denise are mates. We’ve been mates for 20 years so it just felt like being at home, really.
“I used to go round her house all the time, really, so it felt quite natural really. I really enjoyed doing it with her.”
Duncan dished on his close bond with Denise in a recent column for the Mirror, where he claimed the singer was always getting him in trouble.
He also claimed the way Eddie treated her was “really unfair.”
Duncan wrote: “I love my bestie, Denise van Outen, to absolute bits.
“Since I came out, I’ve been so glad to have her as an ally but she’s ALWAYS getting me in trouble when we film Celebrity Gogglebox.
“Her filthy sense of humour rubs off on me and we regularly get told off for making X-rated jokes.
“Bosses have to spend ages editing our segments before they air so we’re lobbying for a late-night version of the show.
“I reckon we can make it happen too.”
Denise had been with Eddie since 2014 before they split, with him admitting to messaging and having phone sex with other women.
