EastEnders killer Gray's exit 'confirmed' as eagle-eyed fans discover 'leaked' date

EastEnders fans reckon they have finally discovered the date that killer Gray Atkins will be exiting the soap.

Eagle-eyed viewers spotted the day that Toby-Alexander Smith’s incarnation of the killer will finally depart Albert Square as they held out to see if he will wake up from his coma after he came to blows with rival Kheerat Panesar.

Now fans have learnt that the leaving date has leaked online ahead of next week’s run of showdown episodes for Gray.

One fan took to Twitter to confirm the exodus for the chilling character, who has left a trail of bodies in his wake.

The viewer revealed via a screenshot from the EastEnders Wikia page – which is run by fans – that Gray’s final appearance on the BBC soap will come next week on Thursday, March 10.

They posted: “Last appearance 10th March ‘22… if this mf dies and doesn’t pay for what he’s done ima hit the roof.”

Another snooped at episode summaries as they predicted: “Ah so Gray is still in hospital next Thursday not long before his final week in the Square. He must leave hospital at the same time Jordan leaves which is the 7th March 2022.”

“Gray’s time is running out… #EastEnders. March 10. BBC One,” another echoed.

EastEnders bosses have already confirmed that Gray’s treacherous ways will finally catch up with him on the week commencing March 7 as the show moves to a new viewing schedule of 7.30pm nightly Monday-Thursday.

Kate Oates, Head of Continuing Drama at the BBC said: “A 7pm time slot gives a whole new audience chance to enjoy the drama in Letherbridge; while EastEnders‘ new 7.30pm slot begins with a hugely exciting week, as killer Gray Atkins is finally exposed…”

As the residents of Albert Square move to a four nights a week schedule murderer Gray’s world will begin to crumble around him following the discovery of victim Tina Carter’s corpse underneath the floorboards at the Argee Bhajee last week.

Viewers have been waiting since September 2020 for Gray to be caught after he murdered wife Chantelle leaving her to die impaled on the cutlery rack of their dishwasher as he casually ventured over to the minute mart to buy milk so he would have an alibi for her death.

He had been systemically abusing her for months, subjecting her to a string of brutal physical and psychological attacks in harrowing scenes which highlighted the plight of domestic abuse sufferers before he finally ended her life.

Since then Gray attacked and killed Tina in his own home when she was living with him alongside Shirley Carter.

He battered Tina to death after she realised he was a killer and voiced her suspicions to him.

Gray then brutally attacked and murdered fan favourite Kush Kazemi in a jealous rage over love interest Whitney Dean, pushing him under a train before fleeing the scene.
