Emmerdale Dingle family rocked by more death shock as Christmas tragedy looms in village

As though the Dingle family hasn’t been through enough in Emmerdale lately, it has been confirmed by soap bosses that another shock death will wrack the ITV village around Christmas time.

The famous family lost two of their own in the last few months, with matriarch Faith Dingle killed off after a battle with terminal breast cancer.

Youngster Liv Dingle, meanwhile, was killed by a flyaway caravan during the 50th anniversary storm week, which saw her trapped beneath the vehicle. She died in her husband Vinny’s arms – leaving fans devastated.

To make matters worse, Cain was arrested for Al Chapman’s murder, despite his son Kyle being the real killer, which has torn the family even further apart.

Now, though, it’s bad news for Sam and Lydia.

The Mirror reports that the news of a sad death will air on-screen later this month, throwing cold water over the Christmas period.

Sam gets some tragic news about one of his beloved pigs, the only one left after the others passed away.

The pigs are a staple of Emmerdale, living in a sty outside the Dingle cottage.
