Emmerdale fans were left scratching their heads as Liv Dingle was discharged from hospital just one day after she fell into a coma.
In last night’s episode (October 4), the teen she was attacked by Sandra’s accomplice, Terry who insisted she retract her statement about Sandra before knocking her unconscious.
Liv’s half-brother Aaron Dingle returned before she was taken to hospital and upon arriving, was informed the youngster was now fighting for her life in a coma.

But during Tuesday’s instalment of the beloved long-running soap, Liv was awake and was soon allowed to leave hospital, leaving viewers baffled at how she recovered so quickly.

Taking to social media with their confusion, one viewer wrote: “This must be the most miraculous recovery ever! #liv #emmerdale.”
“#emmerdale hotton general must be in the top 1% of UK hospitals the recovery rate there is miraculous,” added another.
A third shared: “Liv went from deaths door to fully recovered in the blink of an eye the hospital clearly works miracles #emmerdale.”

While another penned: “I’ve looked worse than Liv does after a being in a coma in hospital??!!! What is this ???!!!!”
Rumours of the character’s death have been circulating since it was revealed that Isobel Steele had reportedly quit the soap to focus on her music.
A source told The Sun: “It’s been a big decision for Isobel but she’s ready to try new things.
They confirmed that bosses have pulled out “all the stops” for the 50th anniversary month and Liv’s exit “will be no different.”
The insider promised fans will be “on the edge of their seats”, and admitted Liv’s death will be a “real heartbreaker.”
