Emmerdale fans will be on the edge of their seats next week, as Emmerdale spoilers have disclosed some intense storylines.
After receiving a letter from her ex-husband, Rhona Goskirk feels obliged to assist him when she discovers that he is dying.
But Vanessa Woodfield doesn’t like the idea and tries her best to prohibit her plans. How far will Vanessa go?
Elsewhere, Chas Dingle is left heartbroken when a mystery person purchases the Woolpack from right under her nose, however, who could the mysterious individual be?
Meanwhile, despite feeling joyous about her wedding plans, Dawn Taylor is stopped in her tracks when her ex-partner shows up.
But what will he want from Dawn this time?
Rhona death bombshell
Rhona is in complete shock when a man turns up saying her ex-husband Pierce Harris has sent him to see her.
He later hands her a letter, but Vanessa Woodfield encourages Rhona to bin it. Despite listening to her suggestion, Rhona doesn’t take her advice which leads Vannessa to become annoyed.
When Rhona reads the letter, she informs Vanessa that Pierce is dying and wants help finding his son.
The next day, Vanessa is clearly distressed with the idea that Pierce is trying to lure his way back into Rhona’s life and to make matters worse, Rhona decides to help.
With everything going on, Rhona hasn’t disclosed any of the latest developments to Marlon Dingle, so Vanessa threatens her that she’ll tell Marlon if she continues to assist Pierce with his plans.
However, Rhona seems unphased by Vanessa’s threats and tells her she checked with a prison liaison officer and they confirmed Pierce is indeed dying and hasn’t got much longer to live.
Rhona begins to search for Pierce’s son Marcus on social media with no clue where to start until Ryan offers his help and later gives her Marcus’ number.
A while later, Rhona reveals to Vanessa that she’s phoned Marcus. But unbeknownst to Rhona when Vanessa sees a return voicemail come in from Marcus she listens to it and leaves him one back pretending to be Rhona by impersonating the sound of her voice.
The following day, Marcus arrives in the village to meet Rhona but Vanessa once again impersonates her, hoping he will leave.
But Vanessa’s plans go wrong when Rhona arrives and is stunned to see Marcus in her presence.
Realising that Vanessa has clearly been dishonest, Rhona lashes out and the ladies begin to argue however, Marcus interrupts their squabble as he tries to get to the bottom of why Rhona contacted him.
Later on, Rhona fills Marcus in on what’s been going on, but has she bitten off more than she chew?
New Woolpack owner
Estate owner Kim Tate picks up an auction catalogue and starts flicking through it and quite soon after Will Taylor works out that Kim will probably put in a bid to purchase the Woolpack.
Once Charity Dingle overhears this news, she’s gutted but quickly reveals what she heard to her cousin Chas.
Clearly devastated, Chas hits the roof to hear Kim is interested in purchasing the failing pub.
Knowing that it will cause potential heartbreak, brother Cain is determined to fix things and tries to ensure Chas doesn’t lose the Woolpack.
On the day of the auction, Chas is clearly reluctant to go as she fears Kim will snatch away her pub, but after some harsh words from Charity, Chas decides to attend.
While at the Auction House, it is clear that there is tension amongst the Emmerdale villagers as the auctioneer prepares to start.
But just as the auctioneer is ready to sell the Woolpack to the highest bidder, Cain shoots his hand up and makes a bid.
However, the Emmerdale hardman is outbid by someone online.
Later on, now that the pub has been sold to a mystery buyer, Marlon and Chas are interested to know who the new owner of the Woolpack could be.
Unfortunately, mum Faith fails to get the name from the auctioneer but is informed that the new owner would like to meet both Marlon and Chas in person, but who could it be?
Dawn son heartache
Kim appears to be unenthusiastic about Dawn Taylor’s wedding date news but Will emboldens her to find something that will put the spring in her step once again.
Former vicar Harriet Finch is touched when Dawn asks her to be her maid of honour, however they still need a venue.
Later on, Dawn’s prayers are answered when Kim offers Home Farm for her special day.
But Dawn’s excitement is short-lived by the return of her ex Alex who pleads with her to let him explain his previous actions but what else does he want and will it involve their son Lucas?
