Gogglebox stars Pete and Sophie, who have been on the fan-favourite Channel 4 show since 2017, have a larger property than they let on.
Viewers will be familiar with Sophie’s yellow lounge chair and the grey sofa where Pete sits in the programme’s set up.
But there is a side to the loveable sibling’s home that you don’t see on the show.

Often, it looks cramped, with the chair and sofa squashed into the corner, but Instagram posts shared by the pair, especially Sophie, tell viewers that the room is much bigger.

While the two don’t really share a whole lot about their personal lives and tend to keep to themselves, Sophie has shared many shots of their living room in which they film.
It shows a mixed colour palette of whites, beiges, and, of course, the yellow of Sophie’s chair and matching foot stool.
In pictures, the brick-patterned walls appear to be much taller than what is suggested on Gogglebox.
Another aspect of the room that is bigger than viewers think is the sofa where Pete lounges during the programme.
Pete’s little sister has shared an Inception-style post previously showing their TV, which is mounted on the white wall above a small fireplace, where Gogglebox is playing, and Pete and Sophie can be seen on the screen.

Their kitchen, which is never shown during the show, has made appearance on Sophie’s Instagram feed in the form of pictures and videos, with Pete often appearances and being silly.
It seems to be one of the more lavish rooms in the house.
The kitchen is modern, with a grey fridge-freezer that has a water dispenser built in.
Other appliances are also modern and generous, including their double oven and fitted lights, which illuminate the rooms counter tops and cupboards.

Slapped bang in the middle of the spacious room is a breakfast bar with matching stools.
It also looks to be like sitting at the bar whilst tucking into breakfast wouldn’t be an eyesore as the huge double French doors and windows out onto their garden.
Sophie has shared photos too, of the sibling’s vast novelty mug collection that they keep in their big cupboards.
She accompanied one of the posts where the mugs are bursting at the seams of where they are kept: “”Another cupboard sacrificed for the mug collection… who needs food cupboards anyway.”
