Holly Willoughby and Alison Hammond are joining forces for a new project after the success of their stint co-hosting This Morning.
The duo are set to work together again on the unrelated venture after Alison filled in for Phillip Schofield when he was diagnosed with Covid-19.
Viewers loved seeing the pair co-hosting the show together as they navigated their way around Phillip’s absence until his return.
Now Holly has announced that they have plans to make their mark as a duo on another audience-focused media offering.
Alison will be joining her on her podcast By The Light Of The Moon as they set the world to rights with a good old natter on the show.
Holly excitedly announced the news on Instagram, teasing her fans with her excitement about the collaboration.
Holly wrote: “When you want to take a little moment for you, tune in to my “By the Light of the Moon” podcast, where I am joined by the sparkling light that is @alisonhammond.
“This is a really special episode that will touch the heart and make you chuckle, thanks to Alison’s signature laugh, worldly stories.and not to mention our mutual love of a Terry’s Chocolate Orange.
“I would give her my core anytime and that I don’t say lightly!”
Excited fans of the Dancing on Ice host couldn’t hold back as they reacted to the news with one writing: “I can’t wait to listen to your podcast with Alison.”
Another added: “Love this month’s edition.”
A third joked: “Just listening to your Wylde Moon podcast at the moment and feel the urge to go out and get a chocolate orange before I continue.”
Both Holly and Phil are missing from the This Morning line up again this week as they take time out for the half-term school holidays.
Alison has been filling in for them all week alongside her presenting partner Dermot O’Leary.
