Alex Jones and ex-McFly member Harry Judd presented The One Show, joined by ITV’s Holly Willoughby and popstars Sigrid and Griff, on Friday (March 4)
With Sigrid rocking a pair of light wash denim jeans with a white jacket and red cowboy boots and Griff in a black ribbed knee length dress and chunky boots, the show was already off to a stylish start.
Holly sat next to them with her signature blonde bob styled in loose curls, wearing a green velvet dress.
Harry questioned the girls on their previous career goals – and found they both wanted to go into teaching.
Sigrid said that she “wanted to be a teacher in history or politics”, while Griff was originally “off to do a degree in economics” but decided against it.
Harry then turned to Holly to ask her about her university experience: “I finished college, I was doing bits of modelling work and doing a little bit telly but obviously it’s an unreliable industry.
“I started doing Open University, I was doing psychology there. I’ve still got my credits! I could still go back to it. I’d like to,” she admitted.
Later on in the show, Harry quizzed the girls about their new single Head On Fire, for which they received a Best Collaboration award at last night’s NME Awards.
He mentioned that he had heard there were a few cultural differences between the songstresses as they worked on the song, as Griff is British and Sigrid is Norwegian.
Apparently there were a few mix ups when Griff would say common phrases like ‘Bob’s your uncle’ – to which Sigrid confirmed that she didn’t know what her pal was talking about.
Holly offered her explanation: “Isn’t it like, ‘there you go’? Then you’ve got it? I don’t know who Bob is.”
Harry and Griff both joked that they don’t know who Bob is, that it’s just a figure of speech.
Sigrid smiled at the comment and said: “You’re all weird.”
Holly also discussed her new show, Freeze with Fear with Wim Hof, a new extreme programme in which celebrities are challenged to dunk themselves in freezing temperatures.
The One Show exclusively revealed the line up, which includes rapper Professor Green, singer Alfie Boe and presenter Gabby Logan.
