Home And Away fans have been left disappointed after news that Nikau Parata star Kawakawa Fox-Reo has reportedly quit the show.
The popular actor – who first set foot in Summer Bay back in 2019 – has already filmed his final scenes last month and left Australia.
Kawakawa is now set to pursue new projects away from the hit Aussie soap having set himself up as a household name thanks to his stint in Summer Bay according to 7Entertainment.

Back in June Kawakawa opened up on his appreciation of his character’s representation of Māori culture in a first for the popular show.
The star was especially grateful for the response he had received via social media to the cultural focus in the plot.
He told Digital Spy: “I got lots of messages on social media that were really supportive which was lovely. I haven’t seen anything negative, the feedback has been really positive.”
Kawakawa then elaborated further as he shared his pride at having been given the opportunity to highlight indigenous culture to viewers and share their traditions with a larger audience.
He continued: “There’s some stuff coming up that shows the cultural side of the family a bit more. I feel there’s a bit of it on there now, it’s a nice little insight into what our culture has to offer. It’s such a huge thing too and I think the things that are shown on the show are nice little snippets of a very big world that’s very rich.
“I’m happy to promote the Māori culture whenever I can, for sure. I’m super proud and honoured to get the opportunity to do that on a show like this. And I want people back home to feel proud, so any opportunity I do have I will take with both hands.”
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR, with first-look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR.
The show also streams on My5, with classic episodes available to view on Prime Video in the UK.
