Jeremy Clarkson’s daughter Emily has said that she is “overwhelmed” following on from her pregnancy announcement yesterday (September 30).
Announcing the joyous news on Instagram on Friday night, Emily, 28, has now opened up about the emotions she has been feeling since hitting publish.
Overwhelmed by the love she and her husband Alex received last night, Emily became emotional in her most recent post where she spoke of how far along she is.

Taking to Instagram to share an additional announcement snap, Emily penned a lengthy caption which read: “So just in case anyone was wondering what plan b for the announcement was…

“[I] just wanted to say the biggest thank you for the hugely overwhelming love last night we feel really lucky.
“I was hella anxious to share, we’re half way through the pregnancy so she’s been a secret for a WHILE but I’ve woken up with such a sense of relief that you all know and I can stop hiding behind increasingly baggier clothing.”
Speaking of her pregnancy thus far, Emily said that it’s been a “wild ride between sickness and hormones”.

In the photograph Emily could be seen standing in a kitchen donning a bra, open shirt and undone jeans.
With her blossoming bump on full display, she held a mug with the Greggs logo on it – but it instead said Preggs.
This came one day after Emily announced the news that she and her husband would be expecting their first child together.

Emily got hitched earlier this year to Alex Andrew, with the pair marrying in a sweet and intimate ceremony at her dad’s farm in May.
Her dad Jeremy clearly approves of his son-in-law, because when the pair announced their engagement in 2020, he said he was a “Very very happy father.”
A social media influencer and positive activist, Emily is the eldest child of Jeremy and his ex wife Frances Cain – with her parents now becoming grandparents.
