It has been 11 years since the world was introduced to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s adorable bridesmaids and pageboys at their wedding on April 29, 2011.
Eleven years on, many royal fans can still remember the bridesmaids and pageboys stealing the show on the big day, including the sweet moment that one young bridesmaid put her hands over her ears when the crowd roared following William and Kate’s balcony kiss.
The world was in awe of the children, all of whom had close connections to William and Kate – including some being of royal birth themselves.
Ahead of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 11th wedding anniversary, Daily Star has taken a look at where the bridesmaids and pageboys are now.
Lady Louise Windsor
Royal fans might recognise one of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s bridesmaids, as she is none other than the Prince’s cousin, Lady Louise Windsor.
The daughter of Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex, Lady Louise Windsor was aged seven years old at the time.
She is now 18 years old and is currently set to make one of the biggest decisions of her life, after sitting her A-Level exams at St Mary’s School in Ascot.
Away from education she has also begun undertaking royal duties, after visiting South Africa in 2015 for her first royal engagement with her brother James, also known as Viscount Severn.
It is also reported that she enjoyed riding in the horse and cart alongside the late Duke of Edinburgh Prince Phillip, and like her grandparents, has inherited their love of horses.
At Prince Phillip’s service of thanksgiving, held on March 29, 2022, Lady Louise also paid tribute to her grandfather’s love of horses by wearing a carriage driving brooch to the service.
She can also be seen at Windsor regularly with the Duke of Edinburgh’s ponies and carriage driving, keeping her grandfather’s memory alive by following in his footsteps.
Lady Margarita Armstrong Jones
Lady Margarita Armstrong Jones is also another royal family member who was a bridesmaid on Prince William and Kate Middleton’s special day.
The daughter of the Earl and Countess of Snowdon, she is the grandchild of the Queen’s late sister Princess Margaret.
She also has a brother known as the Viscount Linley, Charles Armstrong-Jones.
Now 19, the royal is currently a student at Tudor Hall School in Banbury.
She has also entered the fashion world after modelling for a show organised by Chelsea Ballet Schools, in aid of Kids Company.
She has also been seen attending shows organised by worldwide fashion houses including Christian Dior, and Hello Magazine reported that Lady Margarita is also a jewellery maker.
Lady Margarita is also one of the regular attendees at Her Majesty’s annual Christmas lunch day at Buckingham Palace.
William Lowther Pinkerton
Along with members of the royal family, members of the royal household close to Prince William and Kate Middleton were also involved in the big day.
Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton was Prince William and Kate Middleton’s aid until he stepped down from the role in 2013.
However two years before at their wedding in 2011, Jamie’s son William Lowther Pinkerton, who is one of four children, was a page boy on the special day at the age of 10 years old.
He is now 21 years old, but not much is known about his life and is it unknown what career path the now adult William has embarked upon.
However, his father has remained close to the family, even becoming one of Prince George’s godfathers.
Tom Pettifer
Prince William and Prince Harry always remained close to their former nanny, Tiggy Legge-Bourke, who cared for them during the nineties before retiring from the role in 1999.
She also attended the Duke Of Sussex’s wedding at St George’s Chapel, Windsor in 2018, and has remained close to the family since stepping down from her role in the royal household.
Her son Tom, is also Prince Harry’s godson.
Tom was also a pageboy at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding and is now 19 years old, with one of his last appearances in the public eye known to be at Prince Harry’s wedding.
However similar to his fellow pageboys, it seems that Tom prefers to keep his personal life private, and not much is known about what he is up to now.
Eliza Lopez
Eliza Lopez was one of the youngest bridesmaids at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding – aged just three years old at the time.
She also has a royal connection to Prince William, as she is the granddaughter of the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker-Bowles and it has since been reported that Eliza also has a close bond with her grandmother.
Camilla revealed to Hello Magazine that she loved being a grandmother, saying: “It’s very nice because you haven’t got the full responsibility.
“You can give them a wonderful time, spoil them, give them all the things their parents won’t allow, then give them back again.”
The now 14-year-old Eliza keeps away from the public eye, with her family preferring to keep their lives private.
Grace Van Cutsem
Grace Van Cutsem was also three years old when she took on the role of bridesmaid, and is the daughter of Prince William’s close friend Hugh Van Cutsem.
Prince William is also godfather to Grace, who was memorably pictured with her hands over her ears when the crowds cheered following Prince William and Kate Middleton’s balcony kiss.
Now aged 14 years old, Grave Van Cutsem’s family keep their lives out of the public eye, but it is known that Grace currently attends a private school near Oxfordshire.
