Lorraine Kelly seemed worried about Katie Price’s cosmetic surgery when she told her “don’t have any more work” done.
Mucky mansion star Katie appeared on Lorraine’s ITV chat show on Thursday (February 24) – and the pair spoke about Katie’s bond with son Harvey, her terminally-ill mum Amy and her rounds of surgery.
However, Lorraine seemed concerned about 43-year-old Katie’s cosmetic work when she brought up the topic at the end of the chat – and she urged her to stop getting work done.
Lorraine said: “I’m looking at you now and I want to say to you, ‘don’t have any more work, you’re fine’.”
Katie replied: “You sound like my mother! You sound like my mum, she’s like ‘what are you doing, where are you going?'”
Lorraine laughed: “I am your mother!”
The former glamour model went on to recall the time her mum Amy told her off after getting a brow lift.
She said: “When Harvey won the awards, so many people texted me saying ‘what was that hat you had on your head?’
“I said ‘It wasn’t a hat, it was a bandage’. I had a brow lift, and my mum was like ‘what are you doing that for?’
“I was like ‘mum, just realise I’m in my forties now, I did my whole career natural apart from the boobs. I am going to have surgery.”
Katie explained that her mum tells her she doesn’t need the surgery, and that she replies: “Mum, it’s what I want. Just accept it and don’t drive yourself mad.”
Lorraine then mentioned the painful nature of Katie’s cosmetic procedures, telling her: “But Katie, the pain! Apart from the expense, the pain.”
Katie replied: “Do you know, it’s not painful. the face actually isn’t painful.”
When the host asked about how painful her new teeth are, Katie recalled the time she cracked her teeth when she fell off of a skateboard at the age of seven, citing this as the reason for getting the dental work done.
Over the years, Katie has undergone a number of other procedures – including face lifts, Botox, Brazilian bum lifts and liposuction.
Earlier this month, she underwent an eye and brow lift at a clinic in Belgium.
Defending her decision to get surgery, she said: “I’m in my 40s so why not? Everyone knows I’m gonna do it and everyone picks on me for it but I’ll try these things. There’s so many people who have these tweaks and say “I’m natural”. Are you joking?”
