Love Island fans have spotted potential complications on the show after bombshell Jacques entered the Mallorcan villa to join the cast.
After an eventful first week on the ITV2 show, viewers have noticed that the new arrival’s interaction with Ekin-Su could cause a five pointed love triangle.
One fan tweeted out: “Luca, Gemma, Davide, Ekin-Su, Jacques. What a circle. Laughing my a*** off, going to be a dramatic season.”
The comment is in reference to the Love Island couples that have been rearranged over the past few episodes.
Gemma was originally coupled with Davide, until Ekin-Su arrived and turned his head by flirting and working out with the Italian hunk.
Gemma decided to cast her net further which meant that she and Luca began to get closer.

At the recoupling, Luca went first and chose Gemma, which meant that Davide chose Ekin-Su.
However, soon afterwards there was trouble in paradise as Gemma’s ex-boyfriend Jacques made an appearance in the villa.
He dated Paige and Afia before he was fully integrated into the cast and had a chance to speak to Gemma.
Gemma also told the girls that she is still attracted to him and later, Ekin-Su got her graft on and spoke to Jacques one-on-one.

However, some fans are growing tired of the drama and are complaining that the other islanders have less screen time.
One fan tweeted out: “I want more of Amber and Dami, man. I don’t care about this love triangle, square, rectangle, whatever the h*** it is.”
Another frustrated viewer tagged Love Island and told them to “sort it out”: “You appear to believe that all we want to see is the love triangle […] Incorrect! Unseen bits was such a good watch because it was about the others and they’re way more entertaining.”

It has been reported that Jacques ditched his rugby contract to join the show.
He previously played for Super League side Castleford Tigers but has left his team behind for a summer of love in the villa.
They released an official statement which informed fans that the team had “released him from his contract to allow him to pursue another opportunity”.
