Fans of Love Island will know that once the islanders leave the villa they will be opened up to a world of opportunities and the potential to make a lot of money on Instagram.
Following in the footsteps of previous islanders such Molly-Mae Hague, Oliva Bowen and Amber Gill who have made fortunes off the site, the current Love Islander contestants have the potential to do the same if they play their cards right.
Digital marketing agency, 10Yetis have tracked the Instagram profiles of the Love Island season eight stars to understand their growing popularity with viewers as well as their earning potential through sponsored posts on the social media platform.
With things beginning to heat up on the show, Daily Star has shared the data from 10Yetis to discover who would most likely to earn big bucks after leaving the show.
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu -£37k
As one of the first bombshells of the season, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has been keeping the nation entertained with her raunchy antics and go-getter attitude.
Although she is partnered with Davide Sanclimenti, Ekin-Su’s focus quickly changed when new bombshell Jay Younger entered the villa.
But it looks like her likeable persona could earn her mega bucks when she leaves the programme.
And according to the figures, the 27 year old could become the highest Instagram earner of the show with the ability to earn up to £37,010 per sponsored Instagram.
Gemma Owen – £29k
Following closely behind Ekin-Su in the race to become the series’ biggest earner on Instagram is Gemma Owen.
Gemma already gained heaps of attention when viewers discovered that she was football legend Michael Owen’s eldest daughter.
However, she has kept viewers talking as she quickly became one of the most popular islanders inside the villa, especially amongst the boys.
Outside of the show though, Gemma could possibly earn £28,894.99 on Instagram.
Luca Bish – £14k
Fishmonger Luca Bish was a massive hit with the ladies from day one.
And since he has become partnered with Gemma, he seems to have fallen head over heels with her relatively quickly.
Luca seems fairly popular outside of the programme too and is set to become one of the highest earners on Instagram if he plays his cards right.
Luca could earn £14,747.63 from the social media site.
Tasha Ghouri – £13k
Dancer Tasha Ghouri is the first deaf contestant to enter the villa of love.
Making history, the 23-year-old has proven to be a popular contestant amongst the male islanders.
Despite this, Tasha made it clear that she only has eyes for Andrew Le Page in a recent episode of the hit ITV dating show.
Away from the parameters of the villa, Tasha could possibly earn £13,079.60 from Instagram.
Paige Thorne – £12.5k
Following closely behind Tasha is Paige Thorne with a potential Instagram earning of £12,464.87.
Paige has had a fairly rocky start in the show and was almost sent home earlier in the week.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Paige was luckily saved by bombshell Jacques O’Neill who saw a future with the paramedic.
Although Paige said she would return back to work after the show, her potential earnings on Instagram could make her think of avenues.
Indiyah Polack – £10.5k
Indiyah Polack has kept her partner Ikenna Ekwonna on his toes since they first became a love island couple on day one.
Although she’s felt fairly unsure about him, Indiyah has tried her best to make their connection work, but could she swayed now that there are two new bombshells in the villa?
Away from the show, Indiyah has fairly high earning potential on Instagram and could potentially pocket herself 10,593.92 from the social media app.
Davide Sanclimenti – £8k
Heartthrob Davide Sanclimenti turned the villa upside down when he entered as a bombshell on day one.
Despite coupling up with Gemma, he quickly knew there was a fight on his hands and found an interest in Ekin-Su.
But now that Ekin-Su’s head has turned, Davide has been left feeling very frustrated with the process.
Away from the show, Italian Stallion Davide could still be a high earner on Insta and accumulate £7,878.40.
Jacques O’Neill – £5k
Rugby player Jacques O’Neill made heads turn when he unexpectedly walked into the villa, but things became even more awkward when the islanders discovered that he was Gemma’s ex-boyfriend.
Although Jacques may be on the lower end of the chart, he could still make a respectable amount of money on the social media platform.
10Yetis predict Jacques could earn £4,745.86 on the site.
Dami Hope – £4k
Followed closely behind Jacques is Dami Hope with a potential Instagram earning of £4,192.53.
Things appeared to be going quite smooth for Dami, as he has been partnered with Amber Beckford since day one.
But despite their evident chemistry, they seemed to hit a bump in the road recently with Amber now showing signs of confusion.
Will they be able to repair their romance before it’s too late?
Andrew Le Page – £4k
Estate agent Andrew Le Page didn’t have a smooth start during the first few days, as his partner Tasha was unsure on whether she held a romantic torch for him.
Nevertheless, the couple did a complete 180 during week two and their romance seems to be blossoming and going on the right track, despite fans’ uncertainty.
Away from the show, Andrew could potentially earn himself £3,987.26 on Instagram if things go to plan.
Amber Beckford – £4k
Despite being an original islander, Amber Beckford has scored fairly low on the chart compared to the other ladies.
Currently partnered with Dami, Amber appeared to show signs of confusion and seemed to think their relationship might not be heading in the direction she once thought.
However, the nanny from London could consider making some extra cash from Instagram once she leaves the show and could potentially bank £3,978.95.
The number could also increase if she manages to stay in the process for a relatively long time.
Ikenna Ekwonna – £4k
Ikenna Ekwonna has been given his partner Indiyah mixed vibes since they became a couple and even suggested that he wanted to treat her like one of his “boys” before any romantic feelings got in the way.
But since the two new bombshells entered this week, Ikenna seems to be portraying a lot more interest.
Away from the show, depending on how long he stays in the villa, Ikenna could earn up to £3,722.42.
Afia Tonkmor – £1k
Bombshell Afia Tonkmor didn’t last too long in the villa and was dumped from the island on Monday night (June 13).
Speaking about her time on the show, Afia said: “Obviously I’m going to miss everyone in the Villa but I’m going to keep trying to find love. I’m sure Mr Right is out there somewhere.”
She added: “But I maybe learned to put myself out there a bit more. I did learn a few things.”
Now that she has left the villa, Afia may have to put in the work if she wants to join the top earners on the list because according to data research, she could potentially make £820.42 on Instagram.
