The Apprentice star Karren Brady has defended Madonna after the star was criticised for sharing racy lingerie snaps on her Instagram page.
Madonna, 63, has sparked backlash in recent months after posing up a storm in lingerie and fishnets for some X-rated snaps.
Some of her 17.5 million followers have accused her of growing old disgracefully, while others have accused her of photoshopping her pictures after she showcased her pert rear in one of the snaps.
Karen, 52, has now weighed in on the debate, saying Madonna should be able to wear whatever she wants at whatever age.
She wrote in her column in The Sun: “Women should be able to wear what they want and do what they want without being shamed by anyone for any reason, especially age.
“Just because you are 60 or 70 doesn’t mean you have to dress like the older nuns on Call The Midwife.”
“You just know that some people will say that at 63 it’s time for her to grow up.
“But why on earth should she! So what if they are photoshopped? She clearly looks fabulous, and most fabulous of all is the fact she has always been her own woman.”
In her most recent Instagram outing Madonna sent temperatures soaring as she posed up a storm for a glam topless snap.
The 63 year old left little to the imagination as she took to Instagram to show her 17.5million followers her ageless beauty.
The pop star showed off her half blonde, half brunette locks as she styled them poker straight while pulling her tresses over her chest to cover her assets.
She opted for a glam makeup look with lightly blushed cheeks, perfectly curved eyebrows and a bold pink lipstick to show off her large pout.
Madonna completed the jaw-dropping look with several silver necklaces including a choker which featured two yellow smiley faces, a blingy large cross and a third which had a small blue heart on.
She penned to the selfie: “Breathwork……………. #gang-gang and yea Sasha is always reliable!,” followed by a black heart emoji and an ocean emoji.
Earlier this month, rapper Nelly was scolded by fans for Madonna her to “cover up” after she posted a racy snap, showing her lifting up her long trench coat to reveal her behind.
They told Nelly that his comments were “f***ing disgusting”, that he would never say “any of this s*** to her in person” and that the rapper was trying to “cyber bully this person for the way she looks”.
