Married at First Sight UK is not just known for it’s life-changing format, it’s also known for it’s drama.
The sixth UK series of the long-running marriage reality show on Channel 4 saw a huge shake-up to the format after the success of the hugely popular Australian instalment of the franchise.
This meant the introduction of the infamous dinner party format, where several couples would get together to discuss their progress in the process of the show over food and drinks.

However, with temperamental pairings and nervous personalities, the dinners are bound to end in drama and Daily Star has taken a look back at some of the most dramatic moments from dinner parties.
Storm offs
Viewers eagerly awaited the first UK dinner party of the revamped series and it certainly met expectations as Nikita stole the show.
She started to raise her voice at not just her own husband Ant, but also at Jordon who was married to Alexis from across the table.
Nikita decided to call out Jordon or the way he treated Alexis on their honeymoon as she screamed repeated expletives at her fellow guests.
Even though she later stormed out of the dinner party claiming she was leaving the show, she was eventually reportedly removed for her aggressive behaviour.
Events took a more complicated turn after Ant and Alexis started to flirt and they decided to try a new relationship whilst Jordon secretly kissed Megan.
Instagram bombshell
Morag raised eyebrows throughout the series for the way she treated her husband Luke but it was another husband that made a dinner party moment memorable.
Before any of the group even met, Josh slid into Morag’s DMs a year previously and Morag decided to make a dramatic revelation to his new wife, Amy.
The discussion took a dramatic turn as Morag didn’t understand why it was an issue as the drama escalated.
When the events came to a head, Josh told his wife to “shut your mouth” whilst Amy blamed Morag for bringing up the unnecessary event.
‘Controlling’ behaviour
Fans of the hit reality romance show were not happy with Franky over his “controlling” behaviour over Marilsye.
But during one of the dinner parties, the couples had to publicly read anonymous letters written to them by other members of the pack of contestants.
Franky did not take the criticism well and when Marilyse tried to comfort him, he exclaimed: “Maybe don’t talk while I’m talking.”
Viewers were perplexed why Franky stayed with Marilyse but they have since separated.
Married at First Sight UK airs Monday to Thursday on E4 at 9pm
