Rapper Machine Gun Kelly and actress Megan Fox have taken to social media to announce that they are engaged after a 10-month long relationship.
The pair had taken to Instagram to make the announcement, with the actress sharing an emotional video of her fiancée popping the question.
In Megan’s Instagram video, Machine Gun Kelly knelt on one knee as he popped the special question under a banyan tree.
Her lengthy Instagram caption read: “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic
“We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.
“Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”

It continued: “Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.
“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.
“…and then we drank each other’s blood.”
She wrapped up the length post by commemorating the engagement’s special date: “1.11.22”

The celebrity pair have already been inundated with comments on the post.
Friends and fans have shared the love, with Kim Kardashian commenting: “So happy for u guys!!!!”
Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn added: “QUEEN! I am so happy for you! OMG!”
31-year-old Machine Gun Kelly, who’s birth name is Colson Baker, also shared a clip on social media, showing off Megan’s unique ring – it featured both a diamond and emerald stone.

He captioned the post: “Yes, in this life and every life.
“Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, i brought her back to ask her to marry me..”
Megan, 35, and her boo met while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass in March 2020.
The loved up pair were spotted spending quality time together in May 2020, with Megan’s ex, Brian Austin Green, who had confirmed that he and Megan had split after 10 years of marriage in 2021.

Megan added that when they were filming Midnight in the Switchgrass they formed an instant bond.
She said: “The second that I was in a room with him and said hello to him and looked into his eyes, I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame.”
Speaking in a podcast in 2021, she added: “We’re actually two halves of the same soul I think. I said that to him almost immediately. I felt it right away.”

Prior to her relationship with MGK, Megan was married to Brian Austin Green. The pair, who are still finalising their divorce, share three sons together.
MGK is also a parent to daughter Casie from a previous relationship.
