Roman Kemp makes cheeky dig at Kate Garraway after I'm A Celebrity blunder

Roman Kemp has had a light-hearted gig at Kate Garraway, revealing her cooking on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! wasn’t up to much.

The radio DJ and the Good Morning Britain presenter were both campers on the 2019 series of the ITV reality show, with Roman coming third in the competition and Kate coming fourth.

Opening up about the experience on The One Show, Roman shared that when he was a camper they had to take turns at cooking the meals for the others.

While some of the stars were great cooks, it seems the campers didn’t exactly love it when it was Kate’s go to turn whatever rations they had into a tasty dinner.

He told his co-host Alex Jones: “They don’t allow you… you have people in the camp that you know are good cooks. We had Myles (Stephenson) from Rak-Su, and genuinely, he was unreal, I think he did MasterChef – he was an amazing cook.

“And they didn’t let him be the cook.”

He explained: “Everyone has to take turns in watching other people do like, a chore, for instance.

“But what then happened is, we had unfortunately, Kate Garraway, bless her.”

Alex chimed in to say what a fan she was of TV star Kate and Roman agreed that she was a great person.

“Love her, super human,” he said of the presenter.

“However, cooking wasn’t her forte in the jungle!”

The star said the campers would all watch Kate like hawks while she was preparing their meals.
