Vardy V Rooney: A Courtroom Drama uses real transcripts from the court to tell the incredible story of the High Court defamation case.

The Wagatha Christie war began when Coleen accused Rebekah of leaking stories from her private Instagram account to the press about her back in 2019.

Coleen had posted a series of fake stories to her private Instagram and restricted who could view them so she could find out who was leaking information about her.

Vardy sued Rooney for libel after being accused of leaking the information, but it was Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen who ended up winning the case.

The court dismissed Vardy’s claim on the bases that Rooney’s statements were substantially true.
