Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones has teased an upcoming writing session with former co-star James Corden as he returns to the UK after ending his restaurant feud.
During Monday’s visit to the BBC studios, Alex Jones and Jermain Jenas welcomed viewers back to The One Show where they continued to celebrate the flagship channels centenary birthday.
On the show, the presenting duo welcomed the Nessa Jenkins star onto the couch where she discussed her new book which has just hit the shelves.

While they had her on the show, they couldn’t help but ask if she would be writing with The Late Late host again for another series of the beloved TV show Gavin and Stacey.
After finding her noughties series in the top 10 best shows on the BBC since its launch in 1922, the 56-year-old teased: “First of all, would I actually tell you if there was going to be anymore.
“People say to me, ‘You could be lying’ and I go, ‘I know’ but do you know what? At the moment there’s no plans to do anymore.
“But James Cordon is an absolute joy. I love him like he’s my brother and I love the fact that he’s coming back to the UK next year.”
She went on to hint that the pair may be working together on another project together in the future but it may not be for Gavin and Stacey.
She added: “More than anything I just want to see more of him, but if we get to write together that would be double bubble as Gwen would say.
“So, I really hope that we get to write more but I don’t think it will be Gavin and Stacey – but who knows? Never say never.”

It comes after the TV host was branded “a tiny cretin of a man” and “the most abusive customer” to be served at Balthazar – a French brasserie known for its swanky celebrity guests in the heart of Manhattan.
Although the restaurant owner, Keith McNally, later tweeted that James had apologised to him, stating that he “strongly believes in second chances”.
But it was just hours later that the comic was banned from flying with Ryanair with it’s tongue-in-cheek post on Twitter.
The carrier tweeted: “James Corden BANNED from Ryanair alongside a picture of the Late Late Show host on a plane with a red no entry sign plastered over his face.
