The former health secretary is set to be a camper on the ITV reality show, which has led to him being suspended as a Conservative MP.
There had also been rumours about him being a contestant on Channel 4’s celeb SAS programme in September, with the series set to air next year.

But it seems some people involved think that his signing for the gruelling reality show might be eclipsed by his stay in the Australian jungle.
A source told The Sun that Matt was “the star signing” for SAS but that him jetting off Down Under for I’m A Celeb had “poured cold water all over it”.
“Obviously no one working on SAS is impressed as it really takes away from their show and it looks like they signed him after I’m A Celebrity – which isn’t true,” the insider said.
“Everyone is pretty angry about what has gone on and it’s not the best move Matt could have made.”
It was revealed on Tuesday (November 1) that Matt would be joining Boy George and co in the jungle.
The BBC later reported that Tory party managers were unimpressed by the politician’s decision to take part in a TV show right now, when Parliament is sitting.

And he has now been suspended as a Conservative MP.
Other stars moving into the jungle camp include Corrie star Sue Cleaver, England lioness Jill Scott, radio legend Chris Moyles, rugby star Mike Tindall and Loose Women’s Charlene White.
