Matt Hancock is reportedly wanted by producers for the next series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Earlier this month, the former Health Secretary allegedly attended a meeting with producers who asked him to take part in the gruelling Channel 4 show.
The Tory party member is the first serving MP to be called up to take part in the hit series which sees several celebrities take on a series of physical and mental challenges.

Insiders believe this TV stint could show the public that there is a different side to Matt after his affair with his aide Gina Coladangelo was revealed in May 2021.
The source told The Sun: “Matt impressed Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins producers when he spoke to them and they want him to take part. He would be the biggest name to have signed up for the next series and it would be a real coup for the show.
“Matt knows there is a mixed perception of him in the public eye and he thinks going on the show would reveal a different side to himself.”
The insider continued: “It is not unusual for MPs to take part in these kinds of shows and Matt thinks he could go far on SAS, despite it being the hardest of all the reality series on television.”
A spokesperson for Matt added: “Matt gets a huge number of offers and is asked to appear on TV shows all the time but he has not signed up to anything.”
The demanding show isn’t for the faint hearted and if the former Health Secretary was to sign up, he would be put through the ultimate test by Chief Instructor Rudy Reyes as well as his team of directing staff including Jason Fox, Mark Billingham, and Remi Adeleke.
This year’s contestants include EastEnders actress Maisie Smith, Love Island star Amber Gill as well as TOWIE star Ferne McCann.
Daily Star has contacted Matt Hancock for comment.
