Debbie McGee is selling off Paul Daniels’ archive of illusion tricks, costumes and props for £200,000.
The magician’s former assistant, 63, has decided the time is right to pass on her late husband’s iconic collection.
It includes famous tricks he performed on the BBC’s The Paul Daniels Magic Show and on tour, a huge collection of magic posters, playing cards and wands, and his top hat.

Debbie, who married Paul in 1988, said: “I’m never going to use them again and I don’t look at these things.
Before now I couldn’t really let anything go, apart from some things to his sons.
“But it seems unfair of me to hold on to these things without sharing it. At first it was such an emotional wrench but now I’m getting some pleasure from going through everything. It’s been cathartic.”
Paul’s famous Geometrix illusion box – his wife’s favourite – is expected to fetch £12,000 alone.
The jaw-dropping trick involved her being locked in the 6ft-tall box while her husband skewered it with swords and other objects.
His magic collection has been stored at the couple’s home in Henley-on-Thames, Berks, since Paul died in 2016, aged 77, after he was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.
The collection will be sold by Special Auction Services in Newbury, Berks, on November 23 and 24.
It comes after Debbie admitted that Strictly Come Dancing helped her find a new lease of life after the tragic death of her husband.
The beauty, who was partnered with professional dancer Giovanni Pernice revealed her time dancing on Strictly in 2017 made her come out of her shell again.
She previously told Hello! magazine: “I had the best partner in Giovanni, and I was back in show business again.
“People knew who I was before, but I was still the magician’s assistant. Since Strictly I’ve been Debbie McGee in my own right.”
