Strictly's Fleur suffers wardrobe gaffe as slinky dress slips down in steamy dance

X Factor singer Fleur East experienced a wardrobe malfunction during Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing as she took to the stage to perform her mesmerising Salsa routine.

The final kicked off with a bang on BBC One on Saturday night, leaving fans on the edges of their seats.

Taking to the dance floor to perform Hot Hot Hot by The Merrymen alongside her partner Vito Coppola, Fleur gave her everything on the dance floor.

Wearing a tantalising red and green dress which draped elegantly down her legs, the singer turned up the heat.

But as their dance came to an end, Fleur’s strap which was holding the dress up slipped down off her shoulder.

Heading over to presenter Tess Daly, Fleur tried her best to pull the strap back into place.

However fans were quick to comment on Fleur’s red and green ensemble as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One viewer wrote: “I love Fleur! And getting a 40 in spite of that dress is bl**dy brilliant. Burn that dress.”

Another said: “I enjoyed more than I did the first time, but the dress annoys me profusely. She’s an absolutely fabulous dancer though.”

While a third added: “I love this samba from Fleur, but still I want to take some scissors and remove at least 30% of the material from that dress!”

Fleur has dazzled fans and judges throughout her time in the competition with her impressive footwork and stunning technique.

But despite her popularity with the judges and viewers, according to Ladbrokes, the singer has odds of 66/1 to win.

This has placed her at longer odds than Molly Rainford and Helen Skelton, who have been rated 40/1 and 2/1 respectively.

Meanwhile, according to recent reports, fellow finalist Hamza Yassin remains favourite with odds of 2/5.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes discussed the finalists and the potential winner of Strictly 2022.

He said: “Fleur entered Strictly as one of the frontrunners to go all the way, but the latest odds tell a completely different story as she’ll head into tonight’s finale as the rank outsider.”
