Strictly Come Dancing’s James Bye has revealed he injured Amy Dowden during dance practice.
The EastEnders star has revealed that he’s given Amy some bruises during training as he accidentally made a few blunders.
Speaking at the NTAs, James spoke exclusively to the Daily Star and said: “I didn’t realise how hard it was going to be physically.

“But I’ve spun her into the ground, I’ve dropped her, I’ve kneed her, I’ve given her a proper dead leg.
“I took the wrong step and I kneed her right inside the leg, I had to hold her up, but to be honest I often make mistakes.”
James and Amy were given the boot from the show this weekend after putting on stellar performances.
The pair revealed that they expected it was nearing their time to go because of how strong the competition is.
James and Amy decided to take some major risks for the live show and decided to perform a lift that he previously had not been able to nail during his dress run for his Charleston.
Sadly, James remained bottom of the scoreboard despite managing to do the lifts on the show.
But he was judged based on his form which didn’t manage to save him – and both the judges and the public opted to send him home from the competition in week six.
Speaking on his exit James said he did his “very best” as he hailed Fleur East, who beat him in the dance off, as “phenomenal”.
The star added: “It’s a competition but you don’t feel like that backstage, you honestly feel like everyone has each other’s backs and everyone is just willing everyone to do their best!”
Meanwhile his dance partner Amy declared she was “so proud” of the EastEnders star and said he was the “best role model” for his children.
