Ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan has been slammed by a former celebrity contestant.
Death In Paradise star Danny John-Jules has reignited his ongoing feud with the dance champion.
The actor has once again called out James for tweeting that his mother “look miserable” during his time on the BBC dancing show back in 2018.
Danny, 61, didn’t hold back as he branded James a “scumbag” and a “has-been in a recent interview.
The Red Dwarf actor told Express.co.uk: “He had the nerve to go on social media to say that my 85-year-old mum with dementia looked miserable.
|That scumbag. The has-been, never-been, could-have-been… What’s his name? Apparently he’s a dancer.
“It’s easy for me to play villainous characters because I’ve come in contact with enough of them.”
Danny referred to a now-deleted tweet from James’ account which stated that the actor’s mother looked “as miserable as him” while he was performing in Strictly’s dance-off.
Later in the episode, Danny was sent home after performing the Salsa with his dance partner Amy Dowden while his mother sat watching in the audience.
At the time, Danny’s wife Petula also took to Twitter to support her family.
She took to Twitter to brand the former Strictly pro as “out of order” and said his comments were “under the belt”.
James attempted to make peace by saying: “I just stated facts. Said what everyone was thinking. Not attacking anyone.
“She did look miserable when the camera was on her, but I’m sure she is a lovely lady.
“No malice intended. But everyone gets offended over everything nowadays.”
Danny was then sent a screengrab from James which showed a direct message from Petula, captioning the tweet: “Your lovely wife also wrote this to me after she asked me to follow her. I did so because there was no malice.
“Remember Danny I have a lot of friends on Strictly so please stop using this to overshadow the person you are.”
Petula then replied, stating that the direct message was meant to be private.

The message from Petula read: “I hear you… All I say is if Amy told you directly that he was nasty to her then I will hold my hands up… Until then maybe save your judgement???
“And yes I know you comment on Strictly and it’s not intentionally personal… I will refrain from bothering you now…But I thank you for taking a moment out to converse with me. All the best. Xx”.
Petula’s comments came after Danny was accused of bullying his partner Amy, which the dancer has denied completely.
Daily Star has contacted James’ representative for a comment.
