The Wanted's Max George 'splits with Stacey Giggs' after gushing that she was 'the one'

The Wanted’s Max George has reportedly split from his girlfriend ­Stacey Giggs after a three-year-long romance and previously declaring that she was “the one”.

According to The Sun, the 33-year-old hitmaker and heart-throb has separated from Ryan Giggs’ ex Stacey, 38.

This comes after Max headed out on the Strictly Come Dancing tour with professional dancer Katya Jones.

The Sun now reports that the singer has has wiped any trace of Stacey from his Instagram account.

Max and Stacey first locked eyes on each other when they both attended V Festival in 2011.

At the time Max was dating Michelle Keegan, who is now shacked up with and married to TOWIE hunk Mark Wright.

While Max was with Michelle, Stacey was married to Manchester United pro Ryan Giggs, with the couple sharing two teenage children – a daughter and a son.

Seven years down the line the Max and Stacey were reintroduced by friends.

One year on from them meeting again, it was announced that the Max George and Stacey Giggs were dating.

Their relationship started in April 2019 and at the time they spoke exclusively to The Sun about their relationship.

Max told the publication that he thought Stacey was “the one” and said: “I’ve always said I’ve wanted kids but never committed to it in my own head but I think Stacey’s the one.”

He also gushed to the publication that at the time it was “the strongest relationship” he had ever been in, adding that it got more and more exciting every day.

“We’re really close; we were close from day one. With me moving in with Stacey — because that was her family home — and the kids, you become such a tight unit. We are getting closer every day,” he also divulged at the time.
