Alan Carr has revealed he became pals with a dog in a bandana when he necked a “magic mushroom milkshake”.
The comic, 46, also became mates with an imaginary person while hallucinating after having the brew.
The telly star admitted he tried the drug while backpacking in 2000.

And he said he ended up relying on the fashionable pooch for support while the effects of the shake took hold.
Alan said: “I had a sip and this dog ran past in a bandana.
“And my friend went, ‘That actually did happen.’ Cos I was like, ‘This is quick!’
“I thought someone was with me all the time, and it was so annoying.”
He added on the Life’s A Beach podcast: “I was like, ‘Where have they gone?’ ‘Who?’ ‘The person!’ And there’s no one here and you just become annoying.

The funny-man had been complimenting the US singer’s toned, muscular body when he said: “How do I get a body like that?”
Jake cheekily replied “steroids” – but Alan made it clear he had no intention of going down that route, and for one particular reason.
He said: “I don’t want to take steroids, my penis can’t get any smaller!”
