Telly star Alan Carr always sleeps in his pants because he sleep walks.
The red-faced comic revealed it can get him into trouble as he once ended up in a woman’s hotel room.
Alan, who also tours the nation on the stand up circuit, said of his Yorkshire mishap: “I sleep walk.

“I have done it loads of times. I did it recently. I ended up in a woman’s room in Harrogate.
“I remember the woman going ‘arrggh’.
“Apparently she was a fan and was really sweet about it. That’s why I always sleep in pants in case I sleep walk.”
He shared the cringeworthy moment on his hit telly renovation show.
The two flats bought for one Euro each and renovated by Amanda Holden and Alan for the BBC are up for sale at £127,506 after being converted into one property.
The flat in Salemi, Sicily, is now a two bedroom dream home with “breathtaking views”, according to its listing on Rightmove.
Whatever it sells for will be split between Comic Relief and Children in Need.
The stars spent three months doing it up and the results were revealed on Friday in the final episode of Alan and Amanda’s Italian Job.
The series pulled in 4.5 million viewers and the BBC is planning a second run next year.
But actress Amanda, 52, who struggled in the 40 degree Sicilian heat, said it might be “a hot pants version”
Comic Alan, 46, said: “Would I do this again? Of course I would!”
