Amanda Holden slams Ofcom complaints saying 'people have too much time on their hands'

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has revealed that she doesn’t want to receive any Ofcom complaints over her racy outfits during this year’s series.

The 52-year-old has previously sparked thousands of complaints from annoyed viewers who have taken a disliking to her revealing ensembles on the live ITV shows.

However it appears Amanda refuses to tone it down and said those who do file a complaint have “too much time on their hands”.

She joked: “This is the problem, everyone talks about my t**s and his are out all the time. No Ofcom complaints about me this year please!”

Defending his co-star, Bruno said: “If you’ve got it, flaunt it! I don’t understand this complaining. She’s a beautiful woman.”

In 2020, Ofcom received 235 complaints from viewers when Amanda took to the stage in a plunging navy gown which many believed was too revealing for a family evening programme.

However viewers were left outraged in 2017 when the mother-of-two wore an £11,250 dress by Julien Macdonald which sported an extremely low neckline.

Amanda’s infamous frock received 663 Ofcom complaints from viewers.

Joking about the attention that her racy ensembles have received, Amanda previously stated that she might decide to get representation for her boobs.

She said: “I am seriously thinking my girls need separate representation to me, because they are known on their own. They don’t need me, they’re going to go off and do Piers Morgan’s Life Stories on their own next year!”

The news comes after head judge Simon Cowell admitted that you no longer need to win Britain’s Got Talent in order to become a success.

The music mogul, who created and developed the franchise, believes the key to becoming a successful contestant on the show is to ensure their audition goes viral on social media.

Speaking openly, the 63-year-old admitted that things have changed since the show first aired in 2007 and the aim is no longer to win the end prize.
