Anthea Turner has revealed she was rushed to hospital after suffering from a gallstone attack.
The 63-year-old gave fans an update on how she’s currently clearing out storage but also informed her 134K Instagram followers about her health.
Sharing a video, which included snaps of her old belongings, she also shared a photo from her hospital that showed her with a drip in her hand.

Posting a lengthy caption, the former Blue Peter star wrote: “Project ‘Sorting Stuff’ has been going on this end which is why I’ve been quiet also, in the midst of it all I had a Gallstone attack which put me in A&E at The Chelsea and Westminster for a day.

“If you’ve ever had them – and I did the first time 11 years ago – the pain is indescribable, now on antibiotics because their ‘passing’ caused an infection but feeling a lot better.”
After seeing her post on her health, fans shared their thoughts while wishing her well.
One social media user wrote: “Good morning sorry to hear about your recent visit to the Chelsea and Westminster. Though it does sound like they looked after you well.”
Another penned: “Sorry to hear you’ve been unwell, hope you’re feeling lots better now.”

While a third added: “Oh no Anthea.. bless you that’s just horrible! I’m glad you’re okay now.”
Continuing her post, Anthea, who was previously a presenter on ITV’S GMTV, said she previously did a clear-out after her divorce but needed to get rid of more things.
However, while clearing out, Anthea took her fans down a trip through memory lane.
She said: “We’re all goldfish, we grow to the size of our bowl and the bigger the bowl the more stuff we ram into it, until you downsize that is.

“I did a monumental one when I got divorced but some boxes labelled ‘Sentimental’ did find their way to Mum and Dads. But Dad’s moving south and smaller so we’re hitting the de-clutter ‘again’ button like never before.
“Every box reopened ghosts and memories piled out @zandra_rhodes_ jacket from my first @totpofficial dress I did my first Blue Peter photo call wearing. Claudias Madeline picnic set and the Angel she painted for me.
“My first @radiotimes front cover with Philip, @andipeters and @strachan.michaela . My Bunnykins crockery, the list is endless,” she explained.
