Arnold Schwarzenegger says biggest scandal was ‘tough’ on his family in Netflix trailer

Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted that his biggest scandal was “tough” for his family to deal with.

The 75-year-old is set to star in a docuseries about his life that will be released on Netflix next month.

A teaser has been released where Arnold explains he will be “telling his own life story” and alludes to the cheating scandal that broke up his marriage.

In the trailer, he said: “It was very tough on my marriage, on my relationships with the kids.

“I have caused enough pain for my family. I’m going to have to live with it the rest of my life.”

Elsewhere in the trailer, the ex-politician says: “People will remember my successes and they will also remember those failures.

“There is problems and problems […] but I want to do the things that everyone calls impossible.”

When asked why he didn’t give up the star said: “Well, because my vision didn’t talk about giving up. My vision was climbing that mountain.”

Toward the end of the trailer, Arnold explained: “You’re always hungry. You’re never really satisfied.”

Netflix posted earlier this week explaining that Arnold will act as “the orator of his own story”.

It teased recently: “[He] provides audiences with context and insight into three key chapters of his life: Arnold as an athlete, Arnold as an actor and Arnold as an American.”

Maria Shriver and Arnold met in the 80s after they were introduced to each other at a charity tennis tournament.

They went on to tie the knot in 1986 and they have four children together including Patrick, who is an actor and model, and Katherine, who is married to Chris Pratt.

In 2011, the Hollywood power couple announced that they were calling time on their marriage after 25 years and were going their separate ways.

It was later revealed that several years earlier Arnie had fathered a child with someone who worked for them at their house.
