A former Playboy model and Baywatch star has explained why it’s important to “pay attention” in the bedroom and “savour the flavour” of passionate sex sessions.
Erika Eleniak, 53, lifted the lid on her love life in an episode of her podcast, Spiritual Alchemy with Erika, with love and lifestyle coach, Cami Elen.
Despite the Baywatch babe being regarded by some as a scantily clad sex symbol, she noted: “When it really comes to talking about sex… it’s still sort of a taboo thing.”

And to get the most out of sex, she urged people to “savour the flavour” of bedroom antics in order to “enjoy the moment fully”.
Erika kicked off her career early when she was cast in Steven Spielberg’s 1982 sci-fi classic, E.T the-Extra Terrestrial, at the age of just 13.
She was propelled to Hollywood fame after appearing in Baywatch as Shauni McClain between 1989 and 1992.
After making a splash on the show, the Californian stunner went on to become the cover girl for Playboy’s nautical-themed August 1990 magazine.
Shortly after Baywatch, Erika nabbed a notable role starring opposite Steven Seagal in 1992 action hit, Under Siege.
While she’s still acting, Erika has ventured into the wellness space with her Spiritual Academy podcast, which started in 2020.
In one episode, she explained how to make the most from lovemaking.
She said: “It’s really about being fully present. It comes down to… paying attention to each experience.
“Savour the flavour’ and [enjoy] the moment fully.”
The actress shared that being self-confident gives the freedom to feel sexy and is the key to unlocking sexual expression.
She added: “When you put the time into yourself, you start to feel good about yourself, you start to feel self-confident.
“The more fully we become ourselves, the more confident we feel. Hence the more sexy we feel.
“Then we can allow ourselves those sensual moments.”
And while the former bikini-clad babe was happy to talk openly about her sex life – she doesn’t want to be defined as a sex symbol.
She revealed on the The Up and Adam Show: “I never thought of myself as ‘you do Playboy, you’re a Playmate for life’, that’s not who I am.”
Her swimsuit days made it more tricky to get more serious acting roles, the actress claimed.
She explained: “Working on getting a job, it was really hard to be taken seriously for being the Baywatch girl or the girl in the bathing suit for these heavy-duty acting roles.
“It was a fight for many, many, many years.”
