BBC Breakfast star Mike Bushell made a cheeky comment about Naga Munchetty being bored before she shut him down.
The newsreader, 48, teamed up with regular co-host Charlie Stayt as the duo presented viewers with the top headlines on Saturday (April 29).
The pair welcomed Mike into the studio to share the sports updates with fans across the country, which included the latest on China’s Si Jiahui who is three frames away from a historic World Snooker Championship final.

While watching clips of the 20-year-old’s game against Belgian player Luca Brecel, Mike laughed as he spotted Mark Allen throwing a towel over his face.
When asked why the Northern Irish star did that, Mike responded: “Well because it had been going on for so long. They only managed to complete five out of the eight frames they were due to play.
“Three frames were longer than 40 minutes! I think that’s what Naga does during my sports bulletins, sometimes just puts a towel over her face.” he joked.
The 57-year-old then leant back and shut his eyes as he pretended to doze off.
“Nods off,” agreed Charlie, 60.
“Bored of frustration. That’s how you do it,” Mike giggled as Naga opened her mouth in complete shock.
“I don’t,” the radio host insisted before the sports presenter clarified: “Just joking”.
Naga finally returned to the red sofa on Thursday (April 27) following her three-day absence from the breakfast programme last week.
The TV star has been a regular on the show since her debut in 2006, presenting from Thursday to Saturday with co-host Charlie from the studio in Salford.
Last week, it was business correspondent Nina Warhurst and Rachel Burden who stepped in and temporarily replaced the BBC star while she was absent.
