BBC Breakfast star Sally Nugent was left red-faced after she mistakenly insulted Carol Kirkwood’s hairstyle during a chat about humidity.
Carol was speaking about how the weather can change people’s hair whilst she was on location at RSPB Arne in Dorset.
It comes as the humidity in the UK has soared as temperatures reached 30C for the first time this year.

However, Brits can expect to see thunderstorms on Monday (June 12), with the humidity predicted to decrease.
Carol started to conclude the forecast and said: “Jon and Sal, I don’t know about you two but I, for one, will be glad to see the back of this humidity.”
In response, Sally said: “Well, I love it Carol! Apart from the havoc with the hair, I think it’s great.”
Humid weather can cause hair to become frizzy, which led Carol to think the remark was pointed at her.
She bursted out laughing and questioned: “What are you saying Sal?!”
Sally replied: “No I meant mine! Not yours.”
Carol laughed and said: “I think mine’s gone awol as well.”
Sally could be seen red-faced back in the studio and putting her hand to her mouth as she laughed over the hilarious mistake.
Jon chimed in and said: “Well got out of that Sal.”
Sally responded: “Did I? Oh good.”
BBC viewers were also treated to comments from RSPB site manager Peter Robertson during the weather segment.
Peter also mentioned the new series of Springwatch which is being recorded in the area.
Speaking about what it’s like to see clips on the show of his location, he said: “It’s been really amazing.
“To get this behind-the-scenes view, even though I’m here every day you don’t see all this stuff happening.”
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6am on BBC One
