BBC Breakfast’s Carol Kirkwood hailed ‘beautiful as ever’ in low-cut floral dress

BBC Breakfast star Carol Kirkwood wowed fans during her latest appearance on the morning show.

The 61-year-old weather presenter was back on television screens on Tuesday (August 21) to share the forecast with viewers.

She joined hosts Sally Nugent and Joe Kay on the programme wearing a colourful low-cut floral dress.

The figure-hugging number showed off her curves and she accessorised her look with a pair of pearl earrings and a white watch.

She wore her trademark blonde locks in loose waves and enhanced her natural beauty with some makeup.

Carol logged into her Instagram to share a snap of her outfit with her 59,500 followers, with some rushing to leave a message for the star in the comment section.

One fan gushed: “Morning Carol you look lovely.”

“You get more beautiful every day. Have a good day,” another person gushed.

A third social media user said: “Good morning Carol! Look gorgeous, have a lovely day!”

Another added: “Good morning Carol, you are looking as beautiful as ever darling.”

It comes after Carol shut down her co-host Jon during a recent episode of BBC Breakfast after her grilled her on her wedding.

The former Strictly contestant announced her engagement to fiancé Steve Randall last yea and insisted that they were going to have an intimate wedding.

Jon couldn’t help but tease his co-star Carol about her upcoming nuptials live on air.

After she delivered the latest weather report, the dad-of-three informed Carol about how excited she should be to meet one of the guests on the show.

He teased: “Carol you’re going to be very interested in our next item, we’re talking about wedding planning.”

It was at this point that the weather woman burst into laughter before she cheekily joked: “Oh gosh, is that the time?” and cutting her segment short.

But despite the fact that Carol had left the show early Jon and Sally continued to poke fun at her upcoming wedding on air.

Sally added: “I knew she was going to do something like that, we’ll talk about that later when the nation’s not watching.”
