BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty appeared to take a savage swipe at her co-star’s performance on Friday morning (January 6).
Naga might be a great broadcaster, but it’s no secret she enjoys teasing her co-stars from time to time.
And it’s clear she woke up in a cheeky mood again on Friday before she stepped into the studio with co-host Ben Thompson.

That’s because she joked that sports presenter Mike Bushell was “tired” right before he was due to deliver his sporting segment on the hit morning show.
Naga suggested poor Mike wasn’t looking his best when she began: “It’s coming up to twenty-minutes-to-seven…”
She then put on a jokingly frustrated tone as she asked him: “Now… tired, Mike?”
Mike turned to the camera with a rather worried look, replying: “Am I? I haven’t got any sleep last night, actually!”
But Naga dropped the act and reassured him she was only joking as “fatigue” was a key theme in his pending football segment.
She referred to the early rises her and other BBC Breakfast presenters have to suffer through when she replied: “No. I think it’s something we’re all very familiar with, but your analysis of sport today has a theme of fatigue.”
Mike agreed: “There’s a certain element, isn’t there, in terms of people talking about the tiredness of the premier league players that have been to the World Cup,” before continuing his report.

Naga and Charlie normally host Breakfast Thursday to Saturday, but Charlie was missing from his spot on the sofa earlier this week.
Ben is one of the temporary presenters on-hand to replace main presenters when they can’t host the show.
