Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Dianne Buswell has revealed that her dad was rushed to hospital.
The star is currently competing BBC ballroom programme alongside her dance partner EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier – son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier. However, her rehearsal schedule might have had an upheaval as her dad Mark has been suffering with poor health.
She took to her Instagram on Wednesday (November 8) to update fans on her dad’s health. A picture she shared showed her father Mark smiling as he lied in the hospital bed surrounded by gifts.

He wore blue hospital pyjamas and had a medical apparatus attached to his nose. He also clasped a bunch of commissary balloons, which included an image of a round smiley face in an attempt to cheer him up.
She captioned the photo: “Love you so much dad,” alongside a heart emoji. “Sending all my healing wishes and energy your way. She accompanied her note with a GIF which read: “My hero,” as she also tagged her father’s own Instagram account.
Dianne previously broke down over her father’s diagnosis as she explained: “I thought I would be very upfront and honest with you all. Last week I got some news about my dad’s health and I won’t go into detail, but obviously that affected me.”

She added: “Being away from home and not being able to support and help your family in a time of need is quite a difficult thing so I did struggle a little bit last week in terms of that.”
The star – who is currently in a long-term relationship with her former Strictly partner Joe Sugg – also paid tribute to her fellow colleague Amy Dowden, 33, who is currently fighting a form of cancer. She posted a pair of glamorous pictures of them backstage as she wished the personality luck with her last chemotherapy session.
In the first photo she captioned the story: “Also this woman @amy_dowden is about to do her last chemo today!!!! From now on in good things only. Love you and just so proud of everything you have done to raise awareness and help others.”
She added: “And this is why I need an Amy in my life. I thought today was Thursday, Amy has since told me di today is Wednesday! Good luck for tomorrow @amy_dowden.”
