During a one-week retreat at Juicy Oasis – although the stay can be extended – guests will drink four juices per day, or three juices and a soup during winter months.

The guests will also receive daily shots of either ginger, lemon and beetroot or fresh wheatgrass.

Nutritionist Kerry Torrens previously told BBC Good Food that most people on a juice diet will lose weight due to “cutting out sources of fat and protein and significantly cutting calorie intake”.
