Singer Cheryl’s replacement in West End Play 2:22 A Ghost Story has been announced following her stint.
The role of Jenny will be taken on by Ray Winstone’s actress daughter Jaime from May 14, with actors Clifford Samuel, EastEnders ‘ Ricky Champ and One Tree Hill’s Sophia Bush also starring.
The current cast, Cheryl, Jake Wood, Louise Ford and Scott Karim will be starring in the current run of the play until it concludes on April 23.

2:22’s official Twitter account confirmed the news as it shared: “CAST ANNOUNCEMENT We’re moving next door… and we’re bringing some brand-new dinner party guests with us!
“@sophiabush @RickyChamp1 Clifford Samuel and Jaime Winstone make up the latest starry lineup set to thrill audiences at the Apollo Theatre from 14 May #222aghoststory.”
Jaime, who is taking over Cheryl’s role, said of the part: “I’m so excited to be joining the cast of 2:22, we’ve got such a buzz in the rehearsal room.
“Excitement, nerves, fear, which is all perfect for this amazing play. I’ve been so excited to work with Matthew, he’s such a good, hands on director.
“I can’t wait to bring a new energy to Jenny, I’m just throwing myself in the deep end and I can’t wait for everyone to see us perform at the Apollo, to be in the West End and to bring Jenny to life.”
Sophia, who rose to fame as Brooke Davis on US teen drama One Tree Hill, added: “I am elated to be joining this wonderful cast in 2:22 – A Ghost Story! For this revered production to be my West End debut is a dream come true for me.
“One that I can’t wait to share with live audiences in the UK.”
The play revolves around lead character Jenny, who starts to believe her house is haunted, but her husband refuses to believe her fears.
After an awkward night with their dinner guests, the married couple are then confronted by something terrifying in their home.
