A 90s child star looks unrecognisable in recent photos as he showed off a new look.
The actor, who’s now 33, shot to fame as he starred alongside Tom Cruise in a 1996 blockbuster. But he recently looked totally different from the early days of his fame as he took to Instagram to debut a hair transformation.
Fans dubbed him “majestic” as he shared a photo of himself at a football stadium in Texas. He looked suave as he sported a tuxedo for the event and paired the look with a black cowboy hat.

But it was his new hairdo that left fans talking as the star showed off his now long blonde locks that cascaded past his shoulders. If you haven’t guessed who it is by now, the former child star is Jonathan Lipnicki.
Jonathan got his big break in Hollywood starring in Tom Cruise’s Jerry Maguire. He played Ray Boyd, Renee Zellweger’s on-screen son, in the hit romantic sports comedy-drama.
He was just six years old when he appeared in the Oscar-winning movie as the adorable blonde-haired boy. The film’s success led to more roles for Jonathan and in 1999 he went on to play one of the lead roles in Stuart Little.
He returned to reprise his role as George Little in the 2002 sequel of the live-action/computer-animated fantasy. Jonathan is also known for starring in The Little Vampire and Like Mike as a child.
But nowadays he looks unrecognisable from the young boy who first appeared on screens nearly three decades ago. Fans seemed to love his new look as they quickly took to the comments to compliment how “handsome” he looked.
“Yeehawww, cowboy! That’s a good look right there,” one person said. Another fan wrote: “Look at you! So handsome”
The actor’s new hairstyle appeared to be a hit too. One person wrote: “That hair! Looking great!!!”
A second said: “My GOD your hair is MAJESTIC”. A third added: “You turned out hot. Keep your hair long. It does look sexy.”
After getting his big break in Hollywood as a child, Jonathan continued to act and according to his IMDb page he currently has five upcoming projects, including horror Camp Pleasant Lake, which is set to be released next year. Jonathan also made his British on-screen debut when he took part in the hit E4 show Celebs Go Dating back in 2018.
He appeared on the dating show in hopes of finding love but ended up storming out of dinner after his date said she saw him as “innocent” because she remembered him as a child star, and he clearly didn’t appreciate the comment. “If someone can only see me for the child actor I was, that’s going to be a huge issue in a relationship. I’m p**ed off right now. I’ve had a lot of sexual experience in my life, I’m not going to have someone see me as a kid,” he said on the show.
