It looks like time maybe running out for Coronation Street serial killer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).
Human remains are found in the canal by copper Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) in upcoming scenes of the ITV soap.
Fans will know that Stephen murdered Teddy Thompkins (Grant Burgin) after he learned this his son Leo Thompkins (Joe Forst) had bene killed by the Weatherfield villain.

The killer hit Teddy over the head with a staple gun in the Underworld factory office before placing his body in a roof box, which he later transported to the canal where he dumped the body.
However, new pictures reveal that Stephen’s crimes could be uncovered very soon as Craig finds a body hidden in the water.
The policeman is visibly shaken as he leaves the scene after Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) first discovered the corpse by finding a hand in a box.

Corrie spoilers have revealed that Tim turns detective and follows Stephen to the canal.
The cab driver has had his suspicions about Stephen since he first become romantically involved with his mother Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) but she recently ended their engagement.
It’s likely Stephen will be snooping around the canal to ensure Teddy’s body is well hidden, but will Tim catch him in the act?
Making his way through the street, in addition to Teddy and Leo, the murderer has also seen off former client Rufus Donahue, (Steve Meo), and has also made attempts on Underworld boss Carla Connor (Alison King) after he drugged her.
Stephen murdered Leo after he struck up an interest in the killer’s financial troubles which led to a confrontation between the two men.
The row ended in Leo being thrown off the gantry at Underworld, killing him. His body is yet to be discovered.
Stephen silenced business rival Rufus for good with a vial of LSD to spike his drink, before shoving him in the pool and holding his head underwear until his rival drowned.
Rufus’ wife Lou Donahue (Eleanor Howell) recently turned up in Weatherfield to demand answers about her husband’s untimely death.
With the walls closing in on him, is it the end of Stephen?
