Coronation Street fans believe Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) will murder Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) after the serial killer made a chilling threat.
The murderer has already claimed three victims, killing father and son Teddy (Grant Burgin) and Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost) and more recently businessman Rufus (Steve Meo).
During Friday’s episode (April 28) of the ITV soap, Stephen was being blackmailed by two drug dealer over Rufus’ death.

Stressed, Rufus ended up upsetting his fiancé Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) who then let slip to her son Tim that she was intending to marry the dodgy businessman.
Tim was fuming and attempted to ban his mother from marrying Stephen before he turned to the killer himself and warned him to stay away.
He told Stephen: “I’m not going to stand by and watch my mum get hurt.”
Hitting back, the serial killer responded: “Listen you are so controlling, this is the sort of thing your dad would do. Do you really begrudge her a bit of happiness?”
“The only way you’ll be marrying my mother is over my dead body,” fumed Tim before Stephen replied: “I hope it doesn’t come to that.”
Viewers now believe Tim will fall victim to the Cobbles serial killer and have shared their thoughts online.
One wrote: “I said The serial Killer was being geared up to kill a main character, don’t tell me it’s Tim.”
“Don’t even think about killing Tim, just to drag Stephen’s never-ending storyline a bit longer,” added a second person.
Another fan penned: “If Stephen even THINKS about making Tim victim number 3, I’m throwing hands #corrie.”
“Tim: “Over my dead body” He really does like taunting the spectre of death doesn’t he?,” shared a fourth user.
While someone else echoed: “Tim calm down or you’ll be on Stephens hit list.”
