It was at this point that Rob hinted that his character could take a dark turn when he learns how his fiancée Daisy Midgeley locked lips with her former flame Ryan Connor.
He hinted: “She could come and arrest Daniel for being a serial killer, or I could finally kill her and do what Tommy Lee couldn’t!”
The soap star previously teased a dark twist for his character at the British Soap Awards when he told us: “He will find out.
“I don’t know how he finds out because it’s not been written so judging from that it’s going to be something further down the line. But I hope when he does find out that they’re going to clash.”

Rob continued: “I’d love to [be a killer]. Everyone seems to forget that I pushed Ken [Barlow] down the stairs, I’m really getting away with it, don’t I?
“And I pushed Max [Turner] – that’s my M.O [motive]. I’ve pushed an 80-year-old man down the stairs and I’ve pushed a 17-year-old man down the stairs.
“Everybody needs to be careful around Daniel and stairs, that’s generally the rule. I’ve got a sort of nascent serial killer type face.”
