Dragons Den’ in chaos as Sara Davies fumes ‘not a chance’ at candidate in 'savage' dig

Dragons’ Den faced a rather awkward moment after Sara Davies told a candidate there is “not a chance” she will give them money.

The hit BBC One show was back on TV screens on Thursday (April 6) and saw another bunch of buddy entrepreneurs attempt to nag some serious cash.

And hoping to impress the Dragons on the show’s series finale was husband and wife team Karlee and Omar.

The pair were looking for £100,000 for 2% for their business, Hello Klean, – their brand that creates shower essentials for hard water, like a shower filter and scalp soak.

However, it appears the couple’s pitch failed to impress Sara Davies.

Things took an awkward turn on Dragons’ Den

“I’m really struggling to understand what is unique about the business proposition,” Sara said.

“It doesn’t sound like a great deal to me guys, she added.

Waiting for a passionate response from the pair, Sara quipped: “It sound like it’s a great deal to you either.”

“No?” She asked again, to which the awkward candidates stood there looking rather sheepish.

Sara did not hold back

“That was your opportunity to convince me otherwise,” she fired back.

“And as you have not even tried to do that, I’m going to tell you straight up.

“There is not a chance I’ll give you my money, and I’m out.”

Viewers watching the BBC One show at home noticed Sara’s dig, and rushed to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Sara told them there was ‘no way’ she was giving them money

“Wow savage Sara,” one person said.

Another person said: “Sara is in a foul mood tonight.”

It wasn’t all too bad for the couple though as three dragons offered them a deal.

But it was Steven who they wanted and proposed an offer to the TikTok favourite.

“Would you be open to have a deal where we buy back the shares, we can offer you 3% equity plus another 3 if we pay back the investment in eighteen months,” the candidate asked.

“I’d be open to doing 7.5% – to which you can structure it however you want,” Steven replied – leading to the trio doing a deal.
