Eamonn Holmes was spotted using a wheelchair as he arrived at Wembley Stadium as the fan-favourite TV presenter continues to battle chronic back pain.
The 63-year-old broadcaster has been open about his declining health, but recently the star has been suffering with severe pair after he dislocated his pelvis which trapped a sciatic nerve.
Among many other health complications, the TV star described his struggles as “soul-destroying” while he and his family adjust to a new way of living.

But that hasn’t stopped the sports fan from enjoying an afternoon at the football, after the This Morning host was spotted on Sunday afternoon cheering on his favourite team Manchester United.

In the Manchester United match against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final, the GB News presenter was helped to the stands with his son Declan Holmes.
And it appeared as though the pair were in high spirits despite his health woes as they duo dressed up to the nines for the epic cup final.
Eamonn opted for a smart navy jacket which he teamed with a pair of black trousers and a pair or matching Navy-blue slip on shoes.

The silver fox styled his hair in a relaxed manner and carried a clutch as he pushed by his son to the arena.
Despite his chronic pain, the star made sure to wave at joyful fans as he headed to the sporting venue and even stopped for a chat with a security guard.
Declan also opted to dress up for the event, wearing a long black trench coat which he teamed with a pair of black trousers.

He completed the look with a pair of black suit shoes and styled his hair into a quiff for the big match.
It went on to be Eamonn’s lucky day after the broadcaster’s team Manchester United went on to become Carabao Cup champions after demolishing Newcastle 2-0.
Eamonn has previously opened up about his complicated health conditions on Twitter and has undergone physio to help manage the pain.

Taking to social media in December, he wrote: “Worked hard at my physio this morning. Very tiring but I’ve not sat on my backside for 5 hours and feel bad about doing nothing…
“Lack of mobility & dependong on others stops me doing really simple things. For peace of mind I feel another round of foot exercises coming on.”
One fan replied with their own experience: “I feel your pain, I had 6 months of physio 2 hours a night 5 a week. I hated relying on folk.. But the one thing was NO one will ever understnd how awful Physiois and how exhausting.”
Eamonn quickly replied with: “Relying is soul destroying.”

Another user wrote: “I do wonder if time at a spa might help as body weight gravity is roughly one third in the pool. V relaxing…”
He reassured fans: “Doing a bit of hydrotherapy already. Big help.”
Opening up about his chronic pain battle back in March 2021, the presenter said: “Starting the day by tackling the pain from the night before… On the physio table. Chronic pain. Just can’t get it to go away.”
